Isaiah 56:7 (NIV)
Hello, and thank you for visiting!
This is a space where I’ll share occasional reflections, stories, and updates about Faith, Life and Leadership. While I won’t post regularly, I’ll write as time allows, offering insights, testimonies, and moments that I hope will encourage and inspire you.
You’ll already find a few posts about our missionary journey to The Gambia and highlights from our recent Multicultural Celebration Service. I’ll add more content soon, including other local events celebrating our vibrant church community.
At the heart of it all is a passion for people from every nation, culture, and background to encounter the love of Jesus. Whether part of the Redditch AOG family or just exploring, you’re welcome here.
With Every Blessing, Pastor Dr. Elaine Palmer-Taylor
Heavenly Father,
We come before You today with grateful hearts, lifting our world, nation, communities, and lives into Your faithful hands.
We pray for our world, for peace in times of conflict, for healing in times of sickness, and for hope in times of despair. We ask for Your mercy upon the nations and for Your justice to flow like a river, and righteousness like a never-failing stream.
We lift up our country and its leaders. Grant them wisdom, courage, and integrity to lead with compassion and justice. Strengthen those in government, in parliament, in councils, and local authorities. Guide their decisions to align with Your will.
We pray for the healing of our economy. Please provide for those who are struggling financially, and bless businesses, workers, and all who seek employment.
We especially remember the job seekers: open doors of opportunity, extend favour, and restore hope to those waiting for a breakthrough.
Lord, we lift up our neighbours, friends, and families. May our homes be places of peace, encouragement, and love. Heal broken relationships, bind us together in unity, and help us be faithful witnesses of Your goodness.
We pray for individuals who are hurting, for the broken-hearted, the grieving, and those battling illness of body or mind. You are the God who heals and restores. Stretch out your hand to comfort, heal, and lift up all weary and burdened.
Father, we bring before You the vulnerable, the marginalised, and those who have suffered abuse or injustice. Let them find refuge, protection, and dignity under Your care. Help us, as Your people, to be Your hands and feet — defending, embracing, and restoring those who feel forgotten.
We lift up our children, young people, and students. Protect them, Lord. Be their shield at home, at school, and in colleges and universities. Guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, and raise up a generation that loves You and walks in Your ways.
Bless our schools, colleges, and universities with truth, wisdom, and godly leadership. May every teacher, lecturer, and staff member work with passion, integrity, and a dedication to nurture those they serve.
Lord, we pray for Your Church, both locally and globally. Strengthen Redditch Assemblies of God Church and all churches that proclaim Jesus Christ as Lord.
We pray for the Assemblies of God movement across the UK: pour out Your Spirit afresh, renew every leader, and ignite each congregation with fresh fire for the Gospel.
Unite Your Church, Lord. Make us one in heart, one in Spirit, and one in mission to reach the lost, heal the broken, and make disciples in every nation.
We ask for a special blessing over our pastors, elders, and ministry teams. Protect, empower, and encourage them daily as they serve Your people.
Finally, Lord, ignite a revival in our land. Awaken hearts, heal communities, and let Your kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven.
We commit all these prayers to You, trusting in Your perfect love and power.
In Jesus’ mighty Name we pray.
Amen.
At Redditch Assemblies of God Church (AOG), we are dedicated to spreading the love and teachings of Jesus Christ to our community and beyond. Through our various ministries and programs, we strive to make a positive impact on the world around us.
